Sewer & Drain Technician
Job Summary
We are hiring a Sewer & Drain Technician to specialize in drain cleaning, sewer rodding, mainline clearing, hydro-jetting, and camera inspections. This role focuses on diagnosing and resolving drain and sewer issues efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Perform sewer rodding, snaking, and drain cleaning for residential and commercial clients
- Operate sewer cameras and locate blockages or line defects
- Perform hydro-jetting when required
- Diagnose causes of recurring drain or sewer issues
- Communicate findings and recommended solutions clearly to customers
- Maintain drain equipment, cameras, and service vehicles
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean job site
- Document work completed and recommendations made
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of drain cleaning or sewer experience preferred
- Experience with sewer machines, cable equipment, and cameras
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in wet, dirty, or confined environments
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift heavy equipment (75+ lbs with assistance)
Preferred
- Hydro-jetting experience
- Knowledge of sewer repair or lining (CIPP)
- Plumbing background or license (not required for many roles)
