Plumbing Apprentice
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Plumbing Apprentice to assist licensed plumbers and technicians with installations, repairs, and service work. This is an entry-level position designed for individuals looking to build a long-term career in the plumbing trade.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with installations, repairs, and service calls
- Carry tools, materials, and equipment to job sites
- Cut, measure, and assemble pipes under supervision
- Maintain clean and safe job sites
- Learn plumbing systems, tools, and code requirements
- Follow safety procedures and company standards
- Attend required apprenticeship or trade school programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Ability to perform physical labor and lift 50+ lbs
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (preferred)
Preferred
- Enrollment in or eligibility for a registered apprenticeship program
- Prior construction or trade experience (helpful but not required)
- Interest in long-term career advancement within plumbing
